Omran issues a decision to establish the “ Egyptian Pool for Travel Insurance"

Dr. Mohamed Omran, Chairman of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, issued Resolution No. 698 of 2021, establishing a group for the insurance of travel abroad called “Egyptian Group for Insurance of Travel Abroad”

in order to provide a cover of protection and security for the people of the country against the various dangers they may be exposed to while traveling abroad.

 This comes within the framework of the state's keenness to protect Egyptian citizens from the various dangers they may be exposed to while traveling abroad

 , after coordination between the Financial Supervisory Authority and the Ministry of Interior as the agency entrusted with issuing passports for Egyptian citizens

In the event that any of them were exposed to any accidental accident or emergency illness that they might be exposed to during their travel trip outside the Arab Republic of Egypt.
